One of our favorite things to do is capture the love that radiates between a couple in a way that they can treasure for a life time. But it's becomes that much more of a treat, when we get to do it for our two of our best friends! Amanda is our long time friend, and an absolute delight to be around. Anyone who knows her, knows that her beautiful smile can easily light up anyone’s day, and has a huge heart. We met Austin through Amanda, and adore him just as much. He’s a fun, adventurous guy & someone we always enjoy being around. These two fell in love while in college at Stephen F. Austin University, and after college, made a continuous effort to be together through an almost weekly trek back and forth from Dallas/San Antonio. Now that they’re engaged, Austin moved down to San Antonio, to spend forever with her. So sweet!
We decided to take their engagement photos at one of the most sacred and scenic spots in all of Texas, Enchanted Rock. It was storming throughout our way there, but cleared up beautifully once we got into town. After Enchanted Rock, we headed over to one of the most unique venues in Texas, the Trois Estate, for some additional photos. The Trois Estate is where I first fell in love with photographing weddings, and even though I've shot here more times than I can count & 11 years have come and gone since I first stepped foot on the property, it never tires. I continue to find gorgeous and unique photos to take here all the time. The place is beautiful. Not only that, but the owner, Rebecca and her family, are simply the best.
It was so fun photographing our best friends, and we even got to cuddle their adorable dachshund, Honey, throughout the shoot. Honey was so sweet & well behaved, and only made the photos that much cuter.
Amanda and Austin will be getting married at the beautiful Lodge At Bridal Veil Falls in Spring Branch, TX in March, and we can't wait to celebrate these two! It’s going to be a beautiful wedding, and if the wedding is any reflection of them two, then tons of fun as well! Just see below for how much fun they can be! Since their wedding happens to fall on “Pi day” (the Archimedes' constant), they ended their shoot with some fun that reflected that theme. Scroll down for photos you won’t want to miss! It was pretty epic, and we thoroughly enjoyed watching from afar ;)!
